HP System Management Homepage login screen not show up

I have upgrade HP SMH to 6.3.1 on one of my Linux server then login screen was replaced with plain grey page.  I have attach the screen shot.

Try Installing the older version back to check if it is an issue with the SMH

Do I have to uninstall v.6.3.1 before re-install old version?

yes uninstall the current version on the server and then install back the old version ( the one that was running ok on the server before )

Thank you for all suggestion. Log in screen was show up after re-install old version.

We also have this problem on all of our servers since moving to RHEL6.X x64

Used strace on hpsmhd to identify the issue as being incorrect permissions on a file: [pid 6735] open("/opt/hp/hpsmh/conf/smhCertDate.txt", O_RDONLY) = -1 EACCES (Permission denied)

Corrected perms from 640 to 644 as per equivalent RHEL5 servers and the login page finally appeared.

No idea why the perm is being set incorrectly on install. It's on all our RHEL6 servers, not just the odd one.

Thank you very much zeroagemain. That is the solution. After fix permission as you told, all login screen was appeared.
