HP Version Control Agent won't install

We've done this  a million times but on one server VCA won't install. I keep getting an error "Service 'HP Version Control Agent (cpqvcagent) failed to start. Verify that you  have sufficient privileges to start system services"

. I've tried version 7.2.2.0 and the previous version. HPSMH is installed and working fine.

The installer installs the service but it never can start. It is configured to start with the SYSTEM account. It should work. Any help will be appreciated.  - CM

Re: HP Version Control Agent won't install

That document is close but not quite applicable. The server is Windows SBS 2011 so it's essentially WS2008R2. There is an associated event log error that I could post. Thanks!-CM

I'm having the same issue with that VCA version on 2008 R2.

Was there any resolution?
