Re: HP proliant DL 380 G3 space low
You can borrow space from the other partitions and increase the C: partition with the following tools.
Symantec Volume Manager
http://www.symantec.com/Products/enterprise?c=prodinfo&refId=834&cid=1020
Acronis Disk Director Server
http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/diskdirector/
These should do the job and don't require hardware changes. It is always adviseable however to do a full backup before any changes.

Re: HP proliant DL 380 G3 space low
i tried acronics disk director server what it is not solving my problem i contacted acronics support they gave me this reply after analysing my reports
"
Hello Abdul,
According to the information we've received from you there are three separate disks (not just partitions) in your system. Acronis Disk Director Server 10.0 can take space only from the partitions that are located on the same disk and thus it is not possible to extend the C: partition in cost of the free space taken from the H: partition. Probably there are three physical disks in your system due to a specific RAID configuration."
but i have RAID 1 implemented in my scenario
i'm not understanding
help me

Re: HP proliant DL 380 G3 space low
According to the Acronis screen you have E: and H: which are 14.XXGb used space but each has 10Gb free unallocated space.
You can't get over 48Gb of total space for a 36Gb mirrored disk set. Have a look in ACU and send the screen shots from the "View Physical" and "View Logical" screens.
Is it possible that you have a raid 0 system disk which is 4Gb?

Brian

Re: HP proliant DL 380 G3 space low
Acronis has nothing to do with ACU. Array Configuration Utility (ACU) is a Compaq/HP product which allows you to configure and view the Array controller and drive status.
It is normally run via Start-Programs-HP system Tools-HP Array Config Utility.
When the aCU has executed you can cahnge the view from Logical (Where you see only logical drives) and Physical (Where you see the disk drives which are assigned to the logical drives).
Please run ACU and attach the screens.

Brian
