HP proliant ML110 G6 speed problem with 2 TB H.D.D
hello
I have a hp proliant ML110 G6 with 4G ram and 2 * 250GB seagate H.D.D and Pentium G series CPU with windows server 2003
the seagate hard disks are raid-1
every thing is working ok.
I add 2 other hard disk to increase the storage space , I've added 2*2 TB WD purple hard disk with a new array and raid-1
in fact , I have 2 arrayes with Raid 1 now
but problem is when i add 2*WD 2TB hard disk with raid 1 , system speed will be very slow , it takes 20-30s to open drives .
thanks so much
(so sorry about my poor english)

Re: HP proliant ML110 G6 speed problem with 2 TB H.D.D
Hi,
Just make sure that installed hard drive is compatible with the server.
Refer to QuickSpecs http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04286629.pdf
Thank You!
I am a HPE employee
