HP proliant ml370 G4 Server RAM Problem

i have brought HP 4GB REG PC2-3200 2x2GB ALL Part no.343057-B21 Sapre p/n: 345114-061 for HP proliant ml370 G4 server is existing CPU 3.60GHZ, RAM 1 GB 2x512 MB,,,,when i install the new ram and start server it's giving long beep sound and server won't start up

Try replacing the 512MB with the 2GB.

Swap them around a bit and see if it works.

That is the correct memory..could be a bad stick. Did you try to just put in one at a time first?

may be because of spare part number it's not working ,,hp recommanded spare p/n is 359243-001 but mine is 345114-061

That spare number that you have I have listed for a DL380 G4. The spares I find for your machine are: 359243-001, 359243-005 and 413386-001. I apologize I only saw the 343057-B21 when reading your intial message.
