HP server agents fails to start (error 1067)
Hi
I have a DL360 G3 (W2K3 Enterprise SP2) which was failing to start the Foundation Agent (it had version 8.00).
I've just installed version 8.26 of the management agents, and now the Foundation Agent starts OK but the Server Agent fails to start with a 1067 error - process terminated unexpectedly. System event logs shows it starting but immediately failing.
Application event log shows
Faulting application cqmgserv.exe, version 8.26.0.0, faulting module cpqhlth.dll, version 8.26.0.0, fault address 0x0001a4dc.
and
The application, C:\WINDOWS\system32\CpqMgmt\cqmgserv\cqmgserv.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 02/05/2010 @ 21:03:52.609 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 4059A4DC (CPQHLTH!SubServiceControl)
Any pointers?
8.25A was the version shown on the DL360 G3 support and drivers page as the latest version, or I would have gone for 8.30

Re: HP server agents fails to start (error 1067)
I'm having this same issue.
Graeme, ever find anything out by chance?
Any body else out there with any suggestions?
