you can download the latest driver extract it and copy it to a USB key when loading W2008 DVD (doing a manual installation I mean not using smartstart CD) you can update your driver to the latest for the P400 you select your usb jey and udpate the p400

i already done that. it wont even reach the windows server 2008 setup screen.
from the loading screen, it already prompts the bluescreen

My problem turned out to be a bug in MS NFS driver.

I have had a similar bluescreen problem but had to do a cold boot to get the P400 card back, it had vanished! (latest drivers and firmware)
