HPE 25Gb SFP28 SR 845398-B21 - "Made in Malaysia" not working

Hello

We ordered new HPE 25Gb SFP28  SR transceivers (845398-B21).
The transceivers which were made in China and Thailand work perfectly,
but all of the ones made in Malaysia (around 60) don't work at all. 
The Ports don't light up, but the laser is visibly working
Is this problem already known?

2. Both side same sfp+ or not?

Yes, both are 25Gb

3. After you added any light for few seconds appear or not? yes, the laser is visible all the time. The LED Ports don't light up with Malaysian.

4. Can you check with  any working same SFP+?
It works with "HPE - Made in Thailand" and "HPE - Made in China". I also tried with another Nexus 9000. The same issue.

HPE Eth 10/25Gb 2p 640FLR-SFP28 Adptr is now renamed as : HPE Ethernet 10/25Gb 2-port FLR-SFP28 MCX4121A-ACFT Adapter

The firmware of the adatper is 14.29.1016. This is a known issue with the firwmare. This is not a problem with the SFPs. 

Downgrade the firmware to 14.27.4000 .  Verify after downgrading the firmware by using the same SFPs (845398-B21)

Please read the query carefully only made in Malaysia not working and another made in working.

The question if another two working without any downgrade or upgrade the framework then the best option is use only made in China and Thailand after downgrade or upgrade if any issue then?

Yes. The new firmware has issues seen only with the SFP made in Malaysia. This has been notified to our Engineering and Development teams. There is a new firmware in development which has the fix for this issue. No ETA. Until then use SFPs except Malaysia or downgrade the firmware.
