HPE 562SFP+: how to create virtual NICS
We have a couple of HPE proliant Gen10 machines which have HPE 562SFP+ nics build in. When i read the quickspecs of this network interface it says: IEEE 802.1Q Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) protocol allows each physical port of this adapter to be separated into multiple virtual NICs for added network segmentation
Does anyone know how i can create Virtual NICS using Windows 2019 without teaming?

Hi There,
Yes, you can create VNICs without teaming.
1. Go to network adapter properties.
2. Click on Configure
3. Advanced - > VLAN ID - Provide the value
you can also refer to the below Intel Document:

Re: HPE 562SFP+: how to create virtual NICS
Hello Kashyap02, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately for this to work you need Intel ANS, and that is not supported for WIndows 2016 and Windows 2019.

Re: HPE 562SFP+: how to create virtual NICS
Hi JanSinke,
Yes you are correct Intel ANS is not supported on 2016 / 2019 , to use mulitple NIC's on 2016/2019 you will need to have NIC teaming.
