HPE DL380 G7 - SDD compactibility
Hi Team,
We have few servers which are running on HPDL380G7 hardware. We are trying to improve our business processing by installing SSD drives on these servers. At the moment, I'm looking forward to know whether
1) HPDL380G7 servers will support SSD drives?
2) If it supports SSD, then whether this particular drive model support? "HPE 960GB SATA 6G Mixed Use LFF (3.5in) SCC 3yr Wty Digitally Signed Firmware SSD"
Regards,
Karthik

Hi m8,
I am not sure if mentioned SSD will be compatible but QuickSpec is what you need :)
You can find supported HDD/SSD.

Re: HP DL380 G7 - SDD compactibility
Previously used Intel┬о SSD Pro 1500 Series (240 Gb) - works perfect.
Tested and confirmed.

Tested on HPE ProLiant DL360E/P G8 (SFF) DL380E/P G8 (SFF), WS460c G8 Blade Servers, BL460c G8 Blade Servers
Intel┬о SSD Pro 1500 Series (240 Gb) - works perfect.
Intel┬о SSD Pro 2500 Series (240 Gb) - works perfect.
Of course, with an original HPE caddy.

Re: HP DL380 G7 - SDD compactibility
Good, but wery old tutorial. HP/HPE temperature sensor 29 is always big mistery :)
There are a lot of new models HDDs/SSDs, not included in this list.
