Re: HPE DL380p GEN8 iLO4 Self Test Error
Next ILO-4 version 2.60 will have a button in the web interface to force the NAND format ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HPE DL380p GEN8 iLO4 Self Test Error
Hi. I try to use the Powershell Script.
How to determine the Bay Number of the Embedded Flash/SD-CARD?
Help would be appreciated.

Re: HPE DL380p GEN8 iLO4 Self Test Error
this is a chip on the systemboard.
ILO owns it, the OS cannot see it.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HPE DL380p GEN8 iLO4 Self Test Error
Hi
You said in your reply that : " When ILO finished coming up (no server reboot required) "
How about this step please ?
2. Do a power-off/unplug reset

Re: HPE DL380p GEN8 iLO4 Self Test Error
Unless you are running your OS from the internal SD card, an ILO reboot does not affect the running system.
However, meanwhile ILO version 2.60/2.61 can help you with NAND format.
Upgrade ILO to 2.61.
Login and check ILO health. If there is a problem, click on ILO health and select "Format".
After doing this, pull the power plugs (shut down your OS before!).
Then check ILO health again.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HPE DL380p GEN8 iLO4 Self Test Error
Hi
If my understanding is well, I have to proceed as follow :
1- Upgrade iLo Firmware to version 2.61 (Already done)
2- Power-Off the server, remove the power cables for a couple of seconds then Power-On again the server
3- Format NAND
Am I right or missed some steps ?
Does Step 2 mandatory or Optional ?
