HPE ML30 Gen10 unable to see HPE 240GB SATA MU M.2 2280 DS SSD

Purchased a ML30, 4x 4Tb HDD and a HPE 240GB SATA MU M.2 2280 DS SSD. All HP breed.

I've tried just about all I can see in the 'bios', and cannot get the SSD to be visible anywhere.

Tips and tricks appreciated, before I give up and send it all back and by an Intel box. like I used too.

the M.2 slot on the ML30 Gen10 is NVME, so a SATA M.2 won't work. You'll need the NVME M.2 SSD instead: P24188-B21. This is documented in the quickspecs, and I recommend checking those out carefully before ordering or working with a VAR who can assist in designing solutions and catching these sorts of mismatches before an order is placed.
