HPE ProLiant DL160 Generation9 - Can I change primary CPU For 2 higher cores & GHZ CPUs
We have a HPE ProLiant DL160 Generation9 Server (SKU 830574-S01) and we want to know if we can re purpose for anotehr task that will requiere to change its main CPU and add a secondary both E5-2680v4 14 cores 2.4hgz (Part # 825494-L21 & 825494-B21), and will the included PSU (550W) can handle it. if not can the PSU also be upgraded?
We are trying not to have to buy a new server.
Please someone let me know if this is doable.
Thanks.

Re: HPE ProLiant DL160 Generation9 - Can I change primary CPU For 2 higher cores & GHZ CPUs
Hello,
No need to upgrade psu for single processor. but i recommend use 900 watts for 2 cpu.
Please check page 18 for second cpu configuration.
