Hello,
I have an HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen9 Server (840675-425) that i am trying to install Windows Server 2016 Essentials on. I get the following error:
"Windows Server 2016 Server Essentials not supported"
The server has 1 x 1 TB - SATA 6Gb/s - 7200 rpm and HP Dynamic Smart Array B140i.
Is there anything we need to do. Please assist.

Thank you for posting your query!
As per the description and screenshot we understand that you are facing issue installing Windows server 2016 Essential on a ML110 gen9 Server.
I have checked and Windows server should work on ML110 gen9.
Kindly perform the below mentioned steps:
1. Update the server with Latest SPP
2 Go to Intelligent Provisoning, Clear all the previous logical drive.
Create a new logical Drive with One Drive.
3. Go to Intelligent Provisoning and select Configure and Install.
4. Select Recommended Settings
5. If the OS is on USB Device, please make it as a bootable deivce and then plug it to the server.
6. Click on Install.
Let us know if this resolves the issue.
