HPE Proliant Firmwares Update by Intelligent Provisioning
Hi guys,
I have a little doubt, I have an HPE Proliant DL380 G10 Server with Firmwares version 2017.
So, I´m updating firmwares with Intelligent Provisioning, but, when I started Update Job, the page loading for a long time.
The Update Job has been loading for 18 hrs, I have read that is not recomended to restart the server when it´s updating.
- Could you give me an advice?
- Is it normal for it to take so long?
Thanks for your recomendations,
Regards.

Re: HPE Proliant Firmwares Update by Intelligent Provisioning
Not that I know the answer, but the OPS question was:
Is it safe to REBOOT, when documentation specifically says NOT TO once updated have been started?
He was not asking how or where to download another SPP, although it may be a newer version.
If he has an SPP already and is "Running it", pretty sure he knows how and where to get them.
However, seeing it has been running 18 hours, I doubt anything has been updated. Sounds like it stalled on you.
