HPE Proliant Server DL380 Gen 9 Unsupported processor detected
Halo,
I have an HP Proliant DL 380 Gen 9 with an error "Unsupported processor detected". One of the steps suggested to resolve is to connect via iLO (Out-Of-Bound), however when putting my laptop on the same subnet as the server's iLO they seem not to be communicating. Anyone to assist on how i can correctly configure my network to have conne ction between my laptop and iLO

Re: HPE Proliant Server DL380 Gen 9 Unsupported processor detected
This is straight forward.
You configure the ILO in the maintenance menu to a fixed IP address, mask and gateway and do the same with a matching IP on your laptop while using a single cable between both devices.
Example:
ILO: 192.168.1.2 mask 255.255.255.0 gw192.168.1.2
PC 192.168.1.3 mask 255.255.255.0 gw192.168.1.2
Then point your browser to http://192.168.1.2
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
