We have three DL380p Gen8 servers running Server 2016. They are fresh so I installed Server 2016 on all of them and then applied the 2017.07.02 HP Service Pack to each of them at the same time.
Upon booting after the install they now all get "NMI HARDWARE FAILURE" BSOD. As a test, I decided to reinstall Server 2016 again and install the service pack again but I end back in the same situation.
What is this BSOD and does anyone know how to resolve it? I have tested with the 2017-04 HP Service Pack and there is not an issue when that is applied.

SolutionLooks like HPE changed the service packs and it now only contains drivers for Gen9 and Gen10. If you want Gen8 you have to choose a new "POST PRODUCTION" service pack that they provide.
Would be nice to put that more up front and in your face!
