HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 - Cache with 2 SSD - Unkown Status Message
Hello,
i have a proliant ML350 Gen 10 Server. I use 2 SSD Disk for Caching the two RAID Arrays.
My Question is about 3 Status Messages:
1) Cache for Device 1 cannot be deleted, because it is not last created Smart Cache Array
2) Logical Disk, (with Cache) cannot be deleted, because the dedicated Smart Cache is not last created Smart Cache in Smart Cache Array.
3) ... some operations ... are not available until HPE Smart Cache activated.
Are these Messages normal?
Thanks for your answers

Hello Daniel2604,
Thank you for the description.
As per the description below, I would recommend you to update the Controller Firmware to 3.21 using the link below -
Windows - https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_0f754221dbb44902841efff30f#tab-history
Linux - https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_94a0ae6c282f434a98860fc317
NOTE - Please ensure you have a valid data backup of the server before updating thr Firmware to latest.
Disclaimer: Data integrity is customer responsibility. HPE recommends to have data backup frequently and before performing any activity so that it can be restored during disaster recovery
