Will an HPS report show location of empty slots?

What slots are you referring to?
What is the server model?

Location of empty slots, do you mean PCI slots ?

Hi,

yes the HPS report will show you the used and unused PCI slots on all platforms.

On IA64 it in a file called servername_HPsystem_report.txt

On x64/x86 is in a file called servername_HPDiags.xml
