Re: Hard Disk's Health
If you don't want to use HPSIM, perhaps the following link can help:
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Best/free-snmp-test.html
But there is no tool, which is so easy to install and so good like the HP SIM.
If you install the HPSIm, you will have within one hour an application, which monitors the complete system for free.
My cousel to you is:
Make a try !

Re: Hard Disk's Health
Well, if the drives are behind a SmartArray controller, the only thing that is going to see them is the Insight agents. If you have too few servers or not enough desire to implement HP SIM, the Insight agent itself features an Event Notifier that can send email directly without the use of HP SIM.

Re: Hard Disk's Health
now, i try to configure snmp agent from "hp system management" on windows 2003 server sbs edition whit microsoft exchange installed.
I have the following problem: email messages sent to our organization arrive without any problems, but email sent to any other recipients not arrive.
is thisone exchange configuration error or "system management ?
Thank you for any reply.
Regards.
Luca.
