Hard Drive Space
I have a Compaq DL360 with two 9.1GB drives in it. How can I force NT to see all of the space. NT will only pick up 4GB. Out of 18GB total drive space I can only use 8GB of it. I used SmartStart to setup the server. When I got to the drive setup it would only let me select up to 4GB of space.

Re: Hard Drive Space
The limitation on the boot size is dependent on the settings of the Array Controller. In order to get an 8GB boot drive (the absolute maximum using NT 4.0 unattended), there are one of two steps you need to accomplish.
If you are using Smart Start 4.70 or earlier:
From the Operating System drop-down window, select Microsoft Windows NT 3.5x, 4.0
or later - Maximum Boot Size for Operating System.
If you are using Smart Start 4.80 or higher,:
For SmartStart versions 4.8 and above, for the primary OS drive select the Advanced
button and choose the 63 cylinders option to enable maximum boot size geometry.
