I have a DL380 with only 2 of the hot-swap bays taken up. 1 72GB HD and a Tape Back up. Anyway im trying to add another 300GB drive but it wont show up on disk manager. when i plug the drive in the green arrow and hard drive symbol blink, just like the one that works, but i just cant get the disk formated so i can use it if it wont recognize it in disk manager. I was wondering if maybe there is a RAID board active or something that is just trying to use this drvie for a RAID config or something ... any ideas ?

Hi Blake!
Before using disk in OS, you must configure it via Array Configuration Utility (ACU). You can find it in programs menu, clicking Start button (if you have installed PSP).
Haven't PSP? download here http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/psp/index.html
