Hello.
Is it possible to operate fans in ProLiant DL380?

The fan speed is controlled by the BIOS and the system driver if it's installed.
If the HP software is not installed fans are likely to be running at a higher speed.

It's because there's no option. The fan control is automatic and not user controllable.

And I cant operate fans in windows 2003 use HP software too? Right?
Fans work very noisy but in room cold.

Update server BIOS and install Windows Proliant Support Pack. The system driver should regulate fan speed according to the internal server temperature.

Servers with the iLO2 management processor DO NOT require any host software for fan control (unlike previous generations).

Ivan, what does the System Management Homepage report on fan speed and system temperatures say?
