Help me about Disk Smartstart (For HP server) config & Setup

hi all
I have a New Server DL 380 Hp .now I use Disk Smartstart to config Raid ,setup Windows ....but iam have not understanding about This Disk smartstart ,Who can help me supply information for me asap to me may be to carry Setup for my Company

Hi,

what exactly do you wnt to know?

Smartstart is a CD for deploying, maintaining and diagnosing HP ProLiant Servers.
With it you can install Windows & Netware OS. If you make a initial deployment and you have DL380 G5 you can

1. Boot Smartstart
2. Maintain Server - Array configuration utility.
3. click on the controller, click create an array, choose HDDs. Then click on array, click on create logical drive, choose hdds, raid level ok, apply, save and so on...
Then reboot, boot Smartstart again, click on Deploy os, choose Os, insert the os cd, follow the instructions and install the os, after that the drivers, agents and HP tolls will be automatically installed from the CD, so you will not have to manually install drivers...
