Help needed in creating custom base line

Hi

I am trying to create a custom base line using SUM (to be used in Oneview),  as defined here

https://h17007.www1.hpe.com/docs/enterprise/servers/oneview2.0/cic/en/content/s_firmware-custom-spp.html

But I don’t see any help or steps for the following highlighted portion, where is says

NOTE: For any custom SPP you create, you must include iLO, OA, and Virtual Connect firmware

I am sure every one on this forum has created their baseline to shrink the size of the iso, how did you manage to get ilo, OA and VCF into your baseline image

Thanks a lot for your time

Create a custom SPP

HP recommends using the SPP custom download (SPPs) feature at http://hp.com/go/spp. Download customized, smaller SPPs to best suit the environment. For example, you can apply environment–specific filters, like the server model filter or operating system filter and download a smaller SPP for a specific environment.

HP sometimes releases component hotfixes between main SPP releases. Use custom SPPs to install these firmware hotfixes. Upload the custom SPP into HP OneView and assign the custom SPP to a logical enclosure, logical interconnect, server profile template, or a server profile.

Different mechanisms are available for applying a hotfix in OneView:

  • Use SPP custom download to create a new SPP with the hotfix (HP recommended approach).
  • Use HP SUM to create a new SPP with the hotfix.
  • Upload the hotfix and create a custom SPP using HP OneView.

NOTE: For any custom SPP you create, you must include iLO, OA, and Virtual Connect firmware.

For OA, VC and iLO hotfixes, please ensure to upload the .scexe version of the hotfix.
