Help please, W2K SATA drivers for ML110 G5
I know W2K on this server is not supported by HP, but there have been threads on here where Windows 2000 Server has been installed on an ML110 G5, if you can get the right drivers for the hard disk. I have not been able to find drivers that work, can somebody who has managed it let me know what drivers they used please and where to get them.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Re: Help please, W2K SATA drivers for ML110 G5
Hi Jerry A Smith,
ML110 G5 uses adaptec raid controller, try the following driver to check if it detects the controller and the drives:
HP Embedded SATA RAID Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3577708&swItem=MTX-52475fe402f14d2c94196e955b&mode=5
Filename: adpahci-1.2.5567.0.w2k3.x86.zip
Also to manage the controller in windows use the following software:
HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3577708&swItem=MTX-UNITY-I23100&mode=5
Filename: HP6-port_SATA_RAID_Controller_Manager_for_Windows_v3.00.00.zip
Hope this information helps you.
Regards,
Raj.

Re: Help please, W2K SATA drivers for ML110 G5
Hi Raj, thanks for that, unfortunately it didn't solve my problem, but I have got around it now by installing windows 2k first then installing Windows 2000 server.
