Help - problem on DL 380 G2

Our Exchange 2000 server won’t boot –

We have 2 internal disks mirrored as the OS and 4 internal disks on RAID 5 with the app data – I need to access the 4 disks somehow to get the transaction logs off

I’ve put them into a spare DL 380 G2 but it couldn’t see the disks - any ideas anyo

You can install new windows (in addition to windows that won't boot) and from new windows you can access your RAID5 disk.

Which controller are you using, the 5si? You shold be able to go into the array config utility and see the array. Then, as igor stated, build new OS on the new server, and your drives should be recognized.

The disk are recognized by the RAID controller? If yes you can use the MS Windows XP PE boot CD to boot an XP system, from that point if you installed the RAID controller driver (with F6) you can access the disk.
If the disks aren't recognized by the controller check the cables!
