I bought this from a second hand source. I am getting this error when doing disk array diagnostic:
scsi port 1 drive id 0 is not stamped for monitoring
scsi port 1 id 5 is not stamped for monitoring
Should I be concerned about it? If so, then how do I resolved this error? Thanks.

Re: Help setting up Proliant 1850
Hello Mike,
It all depends if you have COMPAQ/HP proprietory Hard Drives. If this is the case then you can always update the firmware of the Array Controller and apply M&P patch by downloading SP16373 from the following link:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/SUPPORT/FILES/16001.html
And for the Array Controller you need SP19677 which can be downloaded from:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/14694.html
Regards,
