Hidden nic when installing RILOE
I am having a problem with some of the Compaq Proliant 3000s when a RILOE is installed. It hides the existing pci nic and won't allow a static IP. The local area connection becomes lac 2, and uses DHCP. When I enter a static address, I get a message saying the address is used by a hidden nic that is preexisting. I've tried to find the entry in registry that will unhide the nic, but my reference indicates a key that doesn't exist.

Re: Hidden nic when installing RILOE
Did you install the correct OS driver for the RILO and are you using a recent firmware on these boards (2.4x or higher)?
A Proliant a day keeps the competition away!

Re: Hidden nic when installing RILOE
I'm upgrading the firmware on each server as I install. I installed the riloe driver; it had no effect.
