Hot swaps

I have a proliant ML 330 G3 server. I need to be able to hot swap hard drives in out of the server. I understand that the server supports this but am uinaware of the next step. Do I need to purchase cages and if so to HP sell them?

Any help would be great appriacted

I don't know where you see that the server dupport disk hotswapp, but in order to use these disks, you need a raid controller supporting HSwapp,and you need a disk cage that support hot-swapp. I checked in partsurfer, but I don't see any hotswapp optional cages for ML 330 g3.
I suggest you to check with your reseller if this unit realy could be transformed to support H-S cages

You can use hot swap drives, but you need to order and install the ML3xx Two Bay Hot Plug SCSI Drive Cage (PN 244059-B21).

Then you can install two Hot Plug drives (up to 146GB Ultra320 SCSI)
