How can I query BIOS info from DOS?
Greetings all,
I'm working on a project where I need to be able to query the BIOS information from the DOS prompt. Specifically, I need to be able to poll the Compaq server model, CPU, etc., and redirect the output to a TXT file to be parsed later by an internally-developed application. Is there a utility that works with the Compaq BIOS that allows me to do this?
Thanks in advance for any help,
-Scott

Hi
There is a tool call the ??SmartStart Scripting Toolkit?? off sp 17876. That tool might help you in what you are doing.
