How do I check the bios and CLPD version of DL380 server ?

Hello,

I don't have idea how to check the bios and CPLD version for DL380 server. As far as I know, I might install the linux and use the dmidecode command read out the bios version but it spend time to install linux.

I prefer to figure out which way to check bios version when I power on system.

- How can read bios version via web console ?

- Which method to read out the CPLD on MB ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

usually, we use the iLO Web GUI to check.

There is a Network Port with the Label "iLO" and the IP for this Port is shown in the Boot Screen.

Log in anytime and you have all the information, the default User & Password is on the Tag (Sticker).

If you provide the Server Generation (G8, Gen9, Gen 10), we can give you deeper Help.

Sorry, for this Auto-generated Bot answer.

I'm an HPE  Partner and also unable to open these documents.

He HPE, how should a Bot answer like this help any Customer, if it provides useless Documents that are (on the Top) unable to open?
