How much memory works Xeon | С каким количеством памяти работает Xeon

I can't find information how many strips memory optimally suited for a two-processor server with Xeon?
Since the computers in your home, processors can use only 2 trims, the rest only when it is filled first, therefore put 4 makes no sense. And i7 uses up to 3 memory modules simultaneously, what is the situation Xeon?))

Не могу найти информацию какое количество планок памяти оптимально подойдет для двухпроцессорного сервера с Xeon?
Т.к. на домашних компьютера, процессоры могут одновременно использовать только 2 планки, остальные только по мере заполнения первых, потому ставить 4 нет смысла. А i7 использует до 3 модулей памяти одновременно, какова же ситуация с Xeon?))

That Board appears to be an Intel branded board and not something that came from an HP Server.

I can also not find hardly any details on that model online.

Do you know which model Xeon CPU would match with that board?


Xeon E5 is the most recent and uses Quad Channel memory (4 DIMMs) and Socket 2011
Xeon 5500 and 5600 uses Triple Channel memory (3 DIMMs) and Socket 1366
Xeon 5100-5400 uses Dual Channel memory (2 DIMMs) and Socket 771
