How to backup a failing raid controller
Hi,
We have a DL-380 GEN9 server which has a tempormental raid controller (stops working when the server is under alot of load).
We are wondering if there is a process to take a backup of the raid controller / restore onto a replacement raid controller?
Thanks for any replies that do come in!

Re: How to backup a failing raid controller
To expand a bit on Torsten's answer, the RAID configuration itself is stored on the disk array. This allows for just the situation you're in...to replace an array controller that has failed. You might even take this opportunity to upgrade to a more capable controller, but you'd have to confirm that the new controller is a valid upgrade path from what you have.
