How to clean/break/remove all array data on ML350 G3??
We have two ML350 G3s.
One has been virtualized and we want to re-use its hard drives within another ML350 G3 server.
What is the best way to clean off the disks in the array to make sure no data from one server is introduced into the other one when it is swapped in??
Does breaking the array with ACU do this??
I know I can run diskcleaning software to remove the server files like Windows etc., I am asking about any metadata and anything else in the array disks that is about the array, etc.
I hope I have properly explained my question.
Thank you, Tom

Re: How to clean/break/remove all array data on ML350 G3??
I think the ORCA has a "clear configuration" option to wipe out any array configuration. Check the ACU too. It should be sufficient as far as clearing up the metadata information on the disks to allow you to use them on the new server. You don't need to wipe out any windows files or partitions. If the array metadata is cleared, you will not interfere when you plug the disks in the other server.
