How to config. SCSI card settings on DL380 G4???

I have a DL380 G4 running Win 2000 Server and Backup Exec 10.

I want to know how to configure the speed (transfer rate)of the card.
When the server boots, I don't see any prompt to enter the SCSI config.
The HP website seems to refer to the "Smart Setup DVD" which I don't have.

I have 2 MSL5000 tape libraries connected to a dual channel U320 LSI SCSI card.
I have benn getting intermittent errors in Backup Exec:
"Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
This could be caused by either a dirty tape drive, bad media, or a SCSI problem.
V-79-57344-34028 - Error reading/writing data from/to the media."
I would like to lower the speed of the SCSI card to see if it would correct the problem.

Thanks.

Your SCSI card could be incompatible.
Did you check relevant compatiblity matrix http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/tapecompatibility.html

Re: How to config. SCSI card settings on DL380 G4???

I believe this card was purchased with the server from Compaq/HP.
It shows up in Windows 2000 devices as "LSI Adapter Ultra320 1020/1030"
It looks like it shows up in the tape library matrix (link you sent)as supported.
