How to install new NIC on Proliant ML 570 G4

Hi, i bought NIC 3COM 3c996B-T and tried to install new NIC on Proliant ML 570 G4, how do i activated it?
- Should i add it on bios ? how?
- I have tried to use its driver to install it on Windows, but windows can find it, seems like the card are not recognized
- I see the light on NIC are off.

Thanks karlo, i bought 2 NIC cards of 3COM 3c996B-T
- First NIC at the startup of Proliant, it said NIC are not supported, than system halted.
- Second NIC didn't have any problem at the startup, however can't be installed on windows server, even i have used the driver from 3Com and the one you mentioned. Still the card was unrecognized.
