How to load MS Small business server 2003. There is no OS on the system now.
Hi,
I purchased this new server HP MS310T05 X3210 server from CDW. It was supposed to be delivered with MS small business server 2003 loaded but they goofed up and didn't come pre-loaded. I also purchased HP Smart Array controller E200 to get RAID-5 capability.
Now during OS load, it doesn't recognize any storage devices. On HP site there are drivers for windows 2003 but not for 2003 small biz server.
I extracted 2003 driver anyway to a CD. During boot, I pressed F6 cd to supply more drivers. However when I specify driver with "S" key later, its expecting me to put driver in A:. I put the CD in cd drive but it doesn't read it. I don't have floppy drive at all.
HP support site doesn't mention small business server at all but in ordering page, it allows selection of that OS. Its very very frustrating.
Can somebody help?

Re: How to load MS Small business server 2003. There is no OS on the system now.
hi Sam
since you are using a e20o controller to install W2003 (by the way all drivers are the same for all versions of W2003)
you can use Smartstart CD it is a CD that will help to configure your RAID and install your OS
it is pretty simple
download file
burn it to a CD
and boot CD it will ask you for Windows CD to complete installation
