How to migrate stiping to mirror

can anyone can help me on this.
im having ultra scsi 10k 36 gb harddisk attached to dl 380 g3 server.in raid 0 level.i want to mirror the same disk with a another disk without loosing data.how can i do it.using smart start CD.

Hi,

If we have the smart array controller with BBWC(battery backed write cache) installed, the online migration from RAID 0(striping) to RAID 1(mirroring) is possible. Firmware should be updated and data to be backed-up before making any changes.

To verify BBWC status: Open Array Configuration Utility - Select Controller - More Information. Look for array accelerator status and battery count.

DL380 G3 has default integrated SA5i+ controller.

steps are recommended such has

1.Complete data backup should be with you
2.Update the controller firmware to the latest
