Re: How to modify temperature threshold ?

Just for information, all servers are running under Windows Serveur 2003/2000.

I have installed HP System Management Homepage v2.1.4.143 and tbe last HP Management Agents.

Thanks

Re: How to modify temperature threshold ?

You cannot modify temperature threshold.
And CPU1 and CPU2 temperature different on all Proliant servers - there is a logic :-)

"ProLiant Servers have multiple thermal sensors which are individually
calibrated to the specs of the components they protect. In order to
know if there is an overtemp condition, you have to know the current
reading plus the threshold item--for each of the sensors. These
thresholds are different from model to model and even from configuration
to configuration."

Ok thank you Igor Karasik.

I think that this is to too bad...but I think that this is a question of guarantee for HP.

Thank you.
