How to rebuild mirro with read error on remaining disc
We have a DL380 with 4x 36Gb and 2x 18Gb, configured as 3 mirrors (0+1).
Array - A - 2x 18gb
Array - B - 2x 36gb
Array - C - 2x 36gb
One of the discs in array A, ID 1, was defect and has been replaced. But in the rebuild fase we ran into problems with the other disc, ID 0, read error.
So how do I get my array up and running now?
The rebuild stops when it reach the read error on disc ID 0.
The server i running, but only with disc ID 1 in array A.

Re: How to rebuild mirro with read error on remaining disc
First do full backup of your server.
Second reboot the server and retry automatic data recovery (using ACU). If you again have non-correctable read errors you need to do Array A restore from backup.
Anyway run Array dignostics utility to check SmartArray controller and disk drives.

Your second drive in Array A may be fault too.
