Through hpacucli, using the following commands
=> ctrl all show config detail
I got the information reported into here enclosed file; using the provided output, is there a parameter that specify if a HD is single or dual port? Can I replace a single port with a dual port?
Many thanks in advance, Best Regards
- Alberto

Re: How to understand if we have a single or dual port HD
Many thanks for your reply, it was very useful. I have just another question: using the provided information, how can I understand if it is a Form Factor or Small Form Factor Hard Disk?
Looking with Google using the model number, I can find it as a SFF but maybe it is available also as FF.
Thanks again, Best Regards

For using dual domain you need a smart array and a enclosure that supports dual domain, e.g. the SA 812.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
