How to update DG146ABAB4 from HPD7 to HPDA or greater

Hi,

Im quite new to servers, so bear with me.

I have a DG146ABAB4 in a dl360 server. storage administrator indicates that it requires a firmware update from HPD7 to HPDA. 

Ive spend the past 5 hours trying to do this with no luck. How do i do this?

Thank you for trying and the update.

Could you please try the below : 

1) Try updating from HPD7 to HPDA, and then to HPDC 

2) If HPDA is done, try HPDD / HPDE

3) Try updating the Controller Firmware (what is the Controller firmware ?

4) What is the Server model? so that we can share different steps / methods to udpate the firmware

Hi, Thankyou for the reply.

I tried all versions of the firmware which yielded the same result.

The controller P410i is updated to the latest version i could find (6.64). The server is a DL360 running windows server 2019.

I believe this could be cos of Operating System Support / compatibility.

In this Case please try Offline Method - using SPP.

Add it to SPP and run.
