Hi there!
How to upgrade RAID Controller Firmware/BIOS for HP ML350 Gen9? (No warranty anymore..)
So i saw, there is no option in the ML350 Gen9 iLO web GUI, so where i have a do the RAID Controller Firmware/BIOS update?
Do i need a special tool? Do i need to upgrade in the HP storage administration GUI (which is callable from the system BIOS, it's not an application that runs on server's OS..)
Maybe there is a software tool for windows server 2016 to upgrade the controller to the most current version?
Thank you very much for your feedbacks! :-)
With best regards,
Jan

SolutionHi,
yes there is one Software that Updates any Firmware and Driver (you can select).
Download "Service Pack for ProLiant" http://www.hpe.com/servers/spp/download
You can Boot the ISO Image (with iLO) for Firmware Update, or Mount and use Setup in Windows for Driver & Firmware Update or create a bootable USB Stick (Tool is included).
This is a "All in One" collection.
======================
That was not planned in this way.

Re: How to upgrade RAID Controller Firmware/BIOS for HP ML350 Gen9?
The server firmware can be updated using a ROMPaq boot Diskette. Download the Server ROMPaq file from the HPE Business Support Center. Run the download file to create the ROMPaq boot Diskette.
