Hp ML110 G4 and QUAD CORE 3200?

Hi Guys,

I got a HP ML110 G4 and used it as development machine, it came with Pentium D 820 2.8GHZ and it doesn't support virtulisation (VT or HT?).

The server motherboard uses Intel 3000/ICH7R chipsets and on its documentation it says Xeon 3040/3050 CPUs will be supported.

I also saw it somewhere else that similar Motherboard with Intel 3000/ICH7R supports xeon Quad Core 3200 series CPUs (see https://www.insight.com/search/compare_similar.web?materialId=S3000AHLX), does any one know whether ML110 G4 will also support xeon Quad Core 3200 CPUs?

the reason being 3200 and 3050 are of similar price while I believe Quad Core 3200 should be much more powerful.
