Hp Proliant BL p-Class Gbe Switch finds new root and has an Toplogy change.

Our network infrastucture is running on 10 Hp Proliant Blade Switches (fw version 2.1.2) connected via Multi mode Fibre Cable on 2 Cisco 6509 Core-Switches.
The following message is reported in the logging file from the Blade switch:

Hp Proliant BL p-Class Gbe Switch finds new root and has an Toplogy change while the Cisco 6509 reports not any change at all on any Giga port that is connected with the BladeSwitches ?

Does anyone know what what this is ? Why is the blade reporting the message without a linkdown on the gigabit ?

Thanks for the support.

Greetings,

Hello KOV,

I was not one incident, and maybe the cause of an broadcast storm in the complete network.
The first time it happend was 22-3-06 and causes an unstable network for a short time, 5 days later this happens again.
That day was also an broadcast storm in the complete network.
