Hyperterminal setup

Hi,
I have just received a new "HP IP console switch 3x1x16", and I am unable to set it up.
Serial connection is not working and I am sure about the connection settings.
Maybe an user guide could help, but no luck inside the box!
Can anyone help?
I am really desesperate....
