I have configured RAID 1 in  ML 10 TODAY - 31-01-2018.

Step by step :

Turn on server

Click on delete button or esc button

It will redirect to bios.

Go to advance and select '' CMS CONFIGURATION'' and enable CMS SUPPORT and select boot optin filter and select legacy only

Again back to advance and select ''SATA CONFIGURATION''  & select SATA MODE SELECTION - change to RAID..

Then - scroll down & select -SOFTWARE FEATURE MASK CONFIGURATION & scroll down and change to 4 seconds  normal delay.

And save & exit.

Restart the server then keep press on CTRL + I then you can create the RAID :)

Hello,

Step by step ML10 Gen9 Configuration and OS Installation.

1. Enter server BIOS using DEL/ESC key.
2. Choose Save and exit menu
3. Choose restore default option and use F4 to save and exit.
4. Reboot the server and enter server BIOS
5. Now select Advanced menu
6. Select SATA configuration
7. Select SATA mode selection and set to RAID mode (AHCI mode would be default)
8. Go back to Advanced menu and select CSM configuration
9. Change CSM support to enable and boot option filter to Legacy only (Boot mode set to Legacy)
10. Use F4 to save and exit.
11. Reboot the server and enter into Intel rapid storage technology setup utility using CTRL+I option when prompted.
12. The hard drives detected by the controller would be listed in the page and use (option 1) Create Raid volume

Good day guys,

I have a ML10 GEN9 server with me i have been bathlign with for almost two weeks now and i am almost getting frustrated with it.After folllowing all the steps written i couldnt lon on to the Rapid storage setup utility with ctrl-i ,can someone please help me out here cos i am already frustrated with the server already.

If am not wrong it is ctrl-i and not ctrl-l that should be used to get to the rss utility setup because i have tried all the key combination but no success.

A quick response will save my day
