I'm having the same problem
I having the same problem with a Compaq ML530 and an SSL2020 AIT Library. I tried everything that I could short of replacing the library.
I finally moved the libary to another ML530. It worked fine for two weeks, now it has the exact same error.
For me this is more then informational. Backups are not working with Backup Exec 8.6. It returns with an IO Error.
