ILO 2 on ML350 G6
Hi, i have an HP ML 350g6, i want to configure ILO 2 but in the boot process the PRESS F8 KEY FOR ILO 2..... doesn`t appear. The Server has no hdd, only one SD with Vmware 4.1. What im doing wrong? The server have te latest firmware 9.30.
Any help will be appreciated.

No, just wait to the boot process show the PRESS F8 KEY TO...but didnt appear, just show the options F9 F10 F11 AND F12, finish post, boot the SD and load the ESXI. Any idea?

Sounds like iLO has been disabled. To re-enable follow these steps
1) power-off the server
2) open the chassis and set the iLO security override switch
3) power on, you should now see the F8 prompt, enter iLO RBSU, enable iLO, save and exit
4) power off the server, then restore the iLO security override switch

It should be shown on the sticker inside the chassis lid, but it's switch 1
see page 85 of the maintenance and service guide
